LIDL fans can keep warm for less this January, as the budget supermarket launches a new range of winter clothes. The UK has been battered with wind and rain so far this year, with snow and ice warnings put in place by the Met Office for the rest of the week.
Severe flooding has caused chaos in Manchester, whilst more than 1000 homes in Devon and Cornwall were hit with power cuts. Due to the severe weather, many of us will be keen to stock up on warm clothing, to keep us feeling toasty. And with many feeling the pinch after an expensive new year, what better place to look than Lidl which has items available for as little as £2.99.
Lidl's middle aisle never fails to impress shoppers with it's weekly launches of seasonal products and household goods. And from January 5, shoppers can get their hands on absolute bargains, such as mens and ladies' thermal gilets for just £9.99. The gilets come in a wide range of colours, such as green and pink and are both water repellent and wind resistant.
Also available are thermal base layer tops and leggings, priced at £4.99 each. These also come in a variety of different colours and comes in both men's and ladies's sizes. The products have brushed lining, for extra warmth and softness and are quick drying and moisture wicking.
For those in need of cosy feet, the supermarket also has a number of felt clogs on offer for £6.99. They come in both men's and women's sizes and have a high wool content for extra warmth. The clogs also have soft felt insoles and are very comfortable to wear, thanks to the anatomically shaped footbed.
