Lily Allen aims to be ‘less of a narcissist’ in 2025 after split from David Harbour

Lily Allen has shared an insight into her 2025 goals following her reported split from her husband of five years, David Harbour. The Smile hitmaker, 39, married the Stranger Things star, 49, in 2020, and Lily shares daughters Ethel, 12, and Marnie, 11, with her ex-husband, Sam Cooper.
After quashing rumours that they had gone their separate ways earlier this year, Lily was spotted on the dating app Raya in December, and on a new episode of her Miss Me? podcast, she didn’t deny the rumours, instead further fueling them. Sitting down with her co-host and long-time friend Miquita Oliver, the musician said this year she intends to focus on herself for a bit before releasing a new album, which would be her fifth studio album and first record in over six years.
While she said she hasn’t got any concrete plans as of yet and is set to star in the production of Ibsen’s play Hedda Gabler in June, she explained to her co-host her 2025 intentions. ‘Firstly, I’m going to go and get my head straight for a bit,’ she started.
‘I’m doing a little bit of work on myself in this beginning period of the year, then I’m going to do some more writing, then I’m going to do my play – hopefully get an album out by the end of the year.’. The news came as a shock to Miquita, likely as the star hasn’t released music since 2018 when she put out her fourth studio album No Shame, which debuted at number eight on the UK Albums Chart, becoming her fourth to do so.
