Dean Burmester has praised his Stinger GC teammate Branden Grace for the hard graft he's been putting in to capitalise on his second chance with LIV Golf for 2025. Last season saw Grace face relegation from the LIV ranks along with big names such as Bubba Watson and the Vincent brothers. Despite narrowly missing out on a comeback through LIV promotions, Grace's efforts haven't gone unnoticed.

"Really good to have Branden back, it is exciting," Burmester gushed to Mirror Sports ahead of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic. "We were all hopeful he would play well at the back end of the season and turn a corner. He has put in a lot of hard work, not only into his golf but into his fitness so it is good to have him.".

The vote of confidence comes after team captain Louis Oosthuizen secured Grace a return berth, demonstrating a beacon of loyalty within the controversial tour spearheaded by Greg Norman, who recently made headlines with his three-word farewell to a leadership role.

Grace's dip in form throughout 2024 caught many off guard, especially since he was one of the first to triumph on the LIV circuit with a win in Portland just two years prior. After being thrown a lifeline for the upcoming season, Grace opened up about his struggles, revealing to LIV Golf.

"I am delighted to be back with Stinger GC," he said. "2024 was a challenging year for me - I was playing with a wrist injury during the early part of the season and struggled to gain any momentum from there. My form improved during the later stages of the campaign and my game is tracking in the right direction. I feel confident that I can carry that through into 2025.".
