Liverpool fans unite in response to Elon Musk's desire to buy the Premier League leaders as supporters claim he would 'wipe away the club's identity'

Liverpool fans have expressed concern over the revelation that billionaire Elon Musk has an interest in buying the Premier League leaders. Musk's father Errol was quizzed about his son - who is the richest man in the world with an estimated wealth of worth an estimated £334billion - reportedly having interest in purchasing the club.
'I can't comment on that. They'll raise the price,' Errol said on Times Radio, while laughing. He conceded that his son has shown an interest, but refused to declare any concrete negotiations. 'Oh, yes. But that doesn't mean he's buying it,' he replied. 'He would like to yes, obviously. Anybody would want to – so would I!.
When asked why Musk is specifically interested in Liverpool, his father revealed that his family have generational ties to the Merseyside city. In the last few months, Musk has emerged as one of Donald Trump's closest allies. Musk has reportedly expressed an interest in buying Premier League leaders Liverpool.
'His grandmother was born in Liverpool, and we had relatives in Liverpool, and we were fortunate to know quite a lot of the Beatles because they grew up with some of my family. So, we are attached to Liverpool, you know,' he told Times Radio. Liverpool supporters reacted to the news with concern, given how Musk has faced mounting criticism over his use of his platform X, formerly Twitter, amid separate rows over domestic immigration policy and comments on foreign affairs.
