A Love Island star has branded her fellow Islanders 'weirdos' after a surprise recoupling decision. Danielle Sellers called Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Curtis Pritchard 'weirdos' after Curtis chose to couple up with Ekin-Su. He had been getting to know Danielle as she was a bombshell. Previously, he told Ekin-Su they were closed off but was open to getting to know Danielle, causing a big bust-up between Ekin-Su and Curtis. Before the recoupling, Ekin-Su suggested she was done with Curtis.

In the latest episode of Love Island: All Stars, tensions escalated when Curtis chose to recouple with Ekin-Su, leaving Danielle single. This decision ignited a feud between the two women, with Danielle expressing her frustration by calling the couple 'weirdos.' This incident sparked widespread discussions about Curtis’s decision and his complicated relationships within the villa. During the recoupling ceremony, Curtis’s decision to choose Ekin-Su over Danielle shocked many viewers and islanders alike. Danielle, visibly upset, confronted Curtis, leading to a heated argument. Ekin-Su, who had previously suggested she was done with Curtis, appeared to be caught off guard by his choice.

Fans also took to X, formerly Twitter to chime in after Danielle's comment. One user wrote: "You know what both Ekin and Curtis deserve each other and yeah Danielle is right they are weirdos." Whilst  another added: "Enough of Ekin Su & Curtis they need to go." A third penned: "I'm so tired of Ekin-su & Curtis , it's been 3 episodes straight. Wrap it up.". And a fourth added: "I'm not surprised he picked Ekin. Curtis is a fame w***e. He only used Danielle to make Ekin fight for him...of course Ekin is too much of a drama queen to do that. Ekin is about to make him a clown and I'm excited.".

This comes after Curtis' ex, whom he broke up with before entering the villa, has claimed he treated her like a doormat. Curtis was dating performer Sophie Sheridan, who claims they were discussing marriage before he dropped her to go on the ITV show due to an “obsession with fame.”. Sophie and Curtis reportedly met at a panto of Cinderella in Wolverhampton in 2021, and started dating the following year. While Sophie said they’d been together for nearly three years before the split, Curtis told Maya Jama and the other islanders his last romance ended “about four months ago for me. It was kind of new but I just knew it wasn't right and if you know that then it sort of, I had to just end it.”.

Curtis went on Love Island Games in 2023, and Sophie claimed that Curtis “pressured” her to pretend that they were broken up so that he could make money on the show for their future together. She added to The Sun that she had "psychological trauma” after he finished his time on the show. The performer said that even beyond his TV stint as a single man, he wanted her to keep their relationship “under wraps” and stopped her from flaunting their relationship on social media or in the public eye.

Sophie described how after a trip away he had “convenient timing” to dump her with the offer of a place on All Stars and that they’ve had no contact since the sudden split in October - and that she was only speaking out now because of how “disrespectful” he was to her. “We’d spoken about the future, about getting married and having kids, but then suddenly it was over,” she said, adding that considering how cut up she was about Curtis being on Love Island Games, he knew it was either her or All Stars this time around.

“He knew I wouldn’t fake another break-up. I need to stand up for myself and actually tell the truth because I’ve just been a doormat for nearly three years,” she shared. *This is a breaking showbiz news story.
