Love Island star, Anna-May Robey, has claimed she was stalked by an Uber driver in a terrifying ordeal. The reality star, 22, who was on the ITV show in 2023, told her followers on TikTok that the driver "stopped the vehicle and pulled her over to look her up on Instagram" before he then offered "a refund for the trip".
Claiming the driver was looking at her social media, Anna-May said: "I think he must have seen my name when I booked it [the Uber] and he was asking me what I do for a living. Then he asked me what my Instagram username was - He pulled over and looked at it [my Instagram account] and said he was going to refund me the money for the trip.".
After being dropped home, the influencer from Wales said things became even more "strange" as she claims to have received a phone call from the same driver just 20 minutes after she was dropped off. The reality star, who was voted off Love Island villa after nine days on the show, claims the Uber driver then asked her to "come downstairs because he had something for her". Anna-May claims she "freaked out" at the man's request but 'played along' before hanging up and blocking his number.
The Love Island star explained she had ordered food from Deliveroo when she received the call from the random number, assuming it was an update on her delivery. However, she claims it was the Uber driver contacting her, saying he "had something" for her. She shared the story in a video on TikTok to her 76,300 followers, saying she was "creeped out" by the event.
