Shaughna Phillips has reminded people of the importance of wearing a seatbelt after being involved in a terrifying car crash. The Love Island star, 30, had her one-year-old daughter in the passenger seat when their vehicle smashed into a double-decker bus. Posting photos after the collision, the influencer shared the damage done to the bus as its windshield was left in Smithereens. She wrote to her 1.4million Instagram followers: ‘Was involved in a minor crash last night with a bus.

‘Could have been so much worse, and with Lucia in the car which was the scariest part!’. On whether she was left hurt or injured, Shaughna added: ‘A bit sore today but I’ll take that any day.’. ‘Always wear your seatbelts,’ she reminded her fans. TV personality Shaughna rose to fame when she appeared on the ITV2 dating show in series 6. Shaughna entered the villa on day 1 and initially grew close to Callum Jones.

Alas, she was dumped from the island on day 33 after failing to couple up again. Now, she’s a proud mum to daughter Lucia, whom she shares with Billy Webb. Billy was previously jailed following a drug raid, with Shaughna defending her decision to take their baby to visit him behind bars. Late last year, Shaughna reunited with Billy after he was released from prison, having served just 12 months of his nine-year sentence.

Career-wise, Shaughna now uses social media to promote her fitness and nutrition plan. Shaughna was first motivated to lose weight when a body scan gave her a wake-up call, showing that she was carrying a lot of fat around her internal organs, sparking fear of severe health problems developing. The star has since dropped nearly six stone after embarking on a new workout regime more than a year ago. Having overhauled her lifestyle at the start of 2024, she went from a size 18 to a size 8.

On how transforming her image has made her feel, she told Closer: ‘I feel so much better for it—my clothes fit better, I feel fitter, and my sleep has been transformed. I’m in the best shape of my life!. ‘I did dig out some old Love Island clothes recently and was shocked that not only did they fit—some were a bit loose!’. Got a story?.
