Love Island's Curtis Pritchard has revealed he's been left "gutted" by Ekin-Su's move. The professional dancer and his partner took part in separate heart rate challenges during the latest instalment of the programme but it appears that heart rates aren't the only things rising. During the challenge, Ekin-Su planted a heated kiss on Sammy Root as she offered a seductive dance. However, during a tense conversation, Curtis told Ekin-Su he had been left "gutted" after her decision to kiss Elma's partner. During a conversation around the fire pit, he said: "Well your performance was outrageous," as Ekin echoed the compliment.

He went on to add: "Little kiss with Sammy, what was all that about? You cheeky devil. When you kissed him, I was actually gutted, gutted, gutted," as Ekin-Su repeatedly told her boyfriend that she didn't "snog" Sammy. "I left the good one to the last," she told Curtis. Fans have since taken to X, formerly known as Twitter to share their thoughts with one writing: "Curtis fake laughing while asking Ekin about her kissing Sammy bless him confronting isn’t easy for him." A second added: "Curtis completely bottled that interrogation of Ekin as to why she kissed Sammy.".

"No that conversation with Curtis and Ekin Su after that made me want to crawl out of my skin," said a third. Meanwhile a fourth typed: "If Curtis had kissed someone in that challenge, Ekin Su would never let him hear the end of it." A fifth went on to say: "The audacity of Ekin to kiss another lad... If Curtis did that she would of hit the roof wtf.". “Do you not think it’s mad she kissed him?...it’s just weird if you’re gonna kiss one kiss all, but you went out of your way to kiss Sammy... it made me feel weird about her," Elma said to Catherine.

Catherine then called Ekin-Su over to try to clear the air, but she refuted the fact that she'd kissed Sammy. After the girls said that the boys - who were up close and personal to the action - confirmed that she did, she admitted: "I didn’t snog him, I just pecked him…I didn’t think that much of it…it’s not that deep.”. "To me it is that deep because he’s the only person that you kissed out of everyone, apart from Curtis," Elma said, leading to Ekin-Su apologising and saying she had a "right to be upset.".

But later in the episode, fans saw Ekin-Su and Elma discuss her decision to kiss Sammy, who is coupled with Elma. "I didn’t snog him, I just pecked him…I didn’t think that much of it… it's not that deep," said Ekin-Su. She continued: "I'm sorry if it;s come across like that or if you feel a certain way… You're right to be upset with me…". Meanwhile, on social media. many viewers agreed with Elma that Ekin-Su's actions were out of line. "Ekin the disrespect is foul," one person said, with another writing: "Ekin takes it too far every single time.".

"Ekin and the double standards, she’d be fuming at Curtis... and not really a girls girl hmmm," a third person added, while a fourth slammed: "Ekins so weird that’s ur friends men not cool it’s like she wants to be hated."
