Plans for a luxurious AI-powered superyacht have been unveiled that can allegedly ‘predict guest’s every move’. Solsea, a ground-breaking 43m long catamaran, is said to showcase the latest and greatest in nautical technology. Designed by well-known Italian shipbuilders Rossinavi, famous for their commitment to innovation, the yacht features a custom-built AI designed to watch guests and anticipate what they may want next.

Crew members will be able to interact with the system easily, with the AI offering guidance on sustainable practices and encouraging lower-impact behaviours. Partly powered by solar panels, the AI may also work towards making ship perform more efficiently and environmentally friendly, Rossinavi bosses have suggested.

The boat is also kitted out with a spacious platform for water sports, a lounge pool and an owner’s cabin with 180 degree views of the ocean. The exterior design of the ship integrates solar power panels to blend seamlessly with the breath-taking architecture.

The superyacht is the product of a collaboration between Rossinavi and world-renowned designer Yves Béhar, who unveiled the project during Miami’s cultural and design week on Miami Beach, Florida. Federico Rossi, chief operating officer of Rossinavi, said: ‘It’s been an incredible journey to see how Yves Béhar reimagined the naval platform of our hybrid-electric catamaran.
