M5 closed in both directions over rush hour ‘police incident’ as drivers left stranded in traffic & urged to avoid area

THE M5 has been closed near Gloucester during rush hour following a police incident. Drivers have now been urged to avoid the area and some have been left stranded on the highway. The crash happened on the southbound carriageway between junctions 12 and 11a.
