It has been reported that Nathan and Lacey discreetly called time on their romance a few moons after MAFS had wrapped up filming, opting to keep mum about their split while the show was broadcast on E4.
With Lacey defending her attempts to "embrace" him, the situation escalates when Nathan presents a text message exchange they had and accuses: "You didn't say to me then 'I think we should fake it'.".
In footage exclusive to The Sun, we see Nathan confronting a visibly surprised Lacey: "So Lace, I didn't come here for a showmance," and she retaliates by stating: "Neither did I.".
Their spat escalated as Lacey suggested they were both at fault for their relationship woes, a stance Nathan seemed to reject, reports OK!.
Nathan once disclosed to The Sun about how Lacey put an end to their charm, suggesting they remain "be friends".
