Milo Ventimiglia has announced the birth of his first child, just weeks after fires destroyed his home. The former Gilmore Girls star, 47, and his wife Jarah Mariano, 41, announced the birth of their first child on Friday evening. The couple, who tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2023, publically confirmed their pregnancy in September 2024 with a sweet bump post. Jarah then took to social media to reveal she had given birth to a baby named Ke’ala Coral Ventimiglia,.
‘Houseless, never homeless. Welcome back Ke’ala Coral Ventimiglia 🌈 1.23.25,’ read the post from Jarah announcing the news. She then went on to document the ordeal she and Milo went through as they were forced to evacuate, then lost their home when she was 38 weeks pregnant. ‘Jan 7th my family & I evacuated from the Palisades Fire. We lost our home that we were living in & everything we own, as well as our home under construction that we were about to move into.
‘I was 38 weeks pregnant & I had done an evacuation only a few weeks prior during the Franklin Fire as well. I take it as a gift that I was able to essentially do a practice run for what was inevitably to come.’. ‘I’m also forever grateful that we were able to evacuate from the Palisades Fire in the daytime, when we could feel more prepared & not caught completely off guard in the middle of the night, for example.’.
She went on to express her gratitude to those ‘heroes’ who helped to battle the fires and care for the survivors. She also thanked her birthing team and the hospital staff who helped her bring her baby into the world. Her final comments reminded fans to give her and her husband privacy as they adjust to parenthood. ‘Gentle reminder to all, to please allow us this time & space to nest with our newborn in such a delicate phase. We already have everything we need in abundance & will be back around with updates in our own time. Sending you Aloha + Light always, Jarah Milo Ke’a Duke.’.
In an eerie twist of events, Milo’s This Is Us character’s home also burned down. In the show, Milo’s character Jack Pearson dies after inhaling smoke when his home burns down in the series. ‘You know, it’s not lost on me, life imitating art,’ he said, looking visibly upset while chatting to CBS News. Londoners are flocking to this ‘bustling’ neighbourhood 10 miles from the centre. What I Own: I bought my £820,000 Nine Elms flat through a little-known saving scheme.
If you live at this house number, your property could be 'cursed'. We moved into a beautiful floating lakehouse and only pay £2,210 a year in 'rent'.
