Mohamed Salah kept up his remarkable form by scoring in the first half of Liverpool's comprehensive 4-1 win over Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoon. The Egyptian forward, 32, has been red hot in front of goal this season for Arne Slot's side, who are guaranteed to head into February at the top of the pile ahead of Arsenal and co.

It didn't take long for Salah to notch his 23rd goal in all competitions against struggling Ipswich - and his latest strike, as it turns out, is a very special one. That's because it was Salah's 100th Premier League goal at Anfield since joining the Reds back in 2017. And it also means he has nudged ahead of Thierry Henry in the all-time Premier League scoring charts, moving up to seventh place overall.

His goal came either side of strikes from Dominik Szobszlai and the in-form Cody Gakpo, meaning the Reds headed in at the half time interval with a commanding 3-0 lead over Ipswich, who are at the other end of the Premier League table. With Manchester City out of the running in the title race, Arsenal look the team most likely to challenge Liverpool for the domestic crown between now and May.

But they went in at the break goalless against Wolves and a man down after Myles Lewis-Skelly was shown a controversial red card. Join the debate! What did you make of Salah's display vs Wolves? Let us know here. And while Liverpool added to their lead after the break to win 4-1, Arsenal managed to find a way to win 1-0 at Molineux to keep touch with Slot's men in the title race.
