MOLLY-MAE Hague's sister Zoe has been left moaning she has the "world's worst luck" after suffering an unfortunate Botox side effect. The 28-year-old explained she has had the wrinkle-freezing injections around "six times" before - in her crows feet, on her forehead and a "tiny bit" in her frown lines. But following her most recent Botox appointment, Zoe suffered an unfortunate side effect - namely that her eyelid on one side has dramatically drooped.

In a video on her TikTok page, Zoe started off wearing sunglasses, before removing them to share the extent of the situation. She also admitted she's gone to her mum's house to "hide from the world" as she's still struggling with the droop eight days after her appointment. "There is a 1% chance of this happening, but it's happened to me. Why me? Why me?" Zoe, the younger sibling of mum-of-one Molly, sighed.

"My eye doesn't open, my eyelid has drooped and I don't want to be seen out in public. "I think it wears off in like two to three weeks, but guys, why me?". Zoe then put her sunglasses back on, as she said: "I think I have the world's worst luck when it comes to things like this!". And she said that her unluckiness in the beauty department has previously stopped her "bothering" with little enhancements.

"I just don't bother," she said. "Don't bother with my lips, don't bother with my face because it always, always, always goes wrong.". Zoe also admitted she wasn't aware of the risk of having an eyelid droop after the injections, but concluded: "So if you're thinking about getting Botox, there is a 1% chance that this could happen to you.". "You can’t write it honestly," she added in the video caption.

"If you don’t laugh you’ll cry, thank God it wears off!". "It happened to my mother in both her eyes," one person wrote in the comments section. "She literally couldn’t open them at all sitting there with tape on her eyes to watch telly.". "This happened to me a few months ago and I was MORTIFIED!!!!" another sighed. BOTOX and anti-wrinkle injections are one of the most popular cosmetic treatments available today.

Botox injections work by weakening or paralyzing certain muscles or by blocking certain nerves. The effects last about three to twelve months, depending on what you are treating. The NHS website estimates each botulinum toxin injection costs £150-£350 per session. The price varies depending on how much is used per session, they add. Botox prices fluctuate depending on where you go to get it done and the number of areas treated.

Some companies offer one area for around the £200 mark, and most offer packages if you want to add more areas to your treatment. It is worth doing your research before you undergo the treatment – and remember that going ‘cheap’ isn’t always a good idea. "It does wear off after about 3 weeks, just hang tight.". "This happened to me…my eye fully closed and couldn’t see out of it for a good month," a third wrote.
