In a thread titled, Parenting, the mom noted that she and her spouse had been separated for a few years and switched off who got the kids for the holidays each year. She explained that this year was her husband's turn to handle the holiday, which included forking over money on the children's presents.
However, on Christmas Eve, she was stunned to discover that her husband didn't even have a tree in his house. When she called her ex-spouse, he revealed that he had made the decision to stop participating in Christmas. The mom shared her frustrations online, as she explained that after a series of hardships over the past year, she wouldn't be able to give her children the Christmas they deserved, especially with such short notice.
