I uninvited my daughter for Christmas after she cheated with her SISTER’S husband – but it’s divided people

CHRISTMAS always brings some form of family drama but one woman was left in a tough position when it came to her invites. The mum-of-four explained why she had to choose between her two daughters when celebrating the festive season. In a Reddit post, one unnamed user shared her dilemma in handeling her adult children.

"I have always been close with my daughter S, while P has always liked to have her own space," she revealed. The woman went on to describe bother her daughters as "beautiful talented young women that I thought I couldn't be more proud of.". She explained that scheduling issues resulted in them celebrating Christmas during the first week of December.

However, as the Reddit user set about arranging the festivities, her daughter threw a spanner in the works. "When I phoned P yesterday to clarify a few things she mentioned that she and her husband would not be coming," she wrote. "She said that they had separated for now as he had cheated.".
The mum tried to persuade her daughter to spend time with her family. However, the younger woman explained that her husband's betrayal was even worse than she originally let on. "Eventually she told me he had an affair with [her sister] and they had been seeing each other for the past two years," the Redditor said.
"I felt sick. For the past six months in our talks, S has alluded that she had been seeing someone and was typically girl-in-love.". After learning about her daughter's actions, the mum made it clear what side she was on. "I uninvited S to the Christmas gathering and blocked her," the poster revealed.
