A Scots mother-of-three could soon become a multimillionaire after putting the luxurious home she won for just £10 up for sale. Five months after winning the keys to her opulent bungalow, Rachael Reid, 54, of Inverness, has put the six-bedroom property on the market for just under £3 million.

In July, Mrs Reid and her husband Darren, 56, won the property near Farnham, Surrey, and have been enjoying the stunning building which boasts a 40ft heated indoor pool and a gym. But now the couple, who have been wed for almost 30 years, have decided to move back to Scotland so they could be closer to their friends and family.

Once the £3m sale goes through, it is set to be a hugely lucrative return on the £10 she spent entering an Omaze competition. She is the latest Scot to sell up after winning the life changing draw, with Glasgow man Grant Carson having sold off his Lake District home within months of winning the prize.

Mrs Reid, a childcare worker, told how the money would ‘change everything for the entire family’. She said: ‘I still can’t believe it really happened to us - winning a multimillion pound house in Surrey has changed our lives forever. Childcare worker Rachael Reid, 54, won the £3million property and £100,000 in cash - after betting just £10.
