THE FA have released a statement to confirm Myles Lewis-Skelly's ban has been OVERTURNED. The Arsenal teenager was sent off in the 43rd minute for a challenge on Wolves' Matt Doherty. Lewis-Skelly tripped the defender as Wolves began to break away on the counter attack following an Gunners corner.
He was immediately dismissed by referee Michael Oliver, much to the anger of Mikel Arteta and his fuming players. Arsenal launched an appeal and the FA have now confirmed Lewis-Skelly's suspension has been lifted. It read: "An independent Regulatory Commission has upheld a claim of wrongful dismissal in relation to Myles Lewis-Skelly and removed his three-match suspension.
"The Arsenal player was sent off for serious foul play during their Premier League fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, January 25, 2025.". MORE TO FOLLOW.
