Ava’s dad Chad has been the drummer of funk rock band, Red Hot Chili Peppers since 1988.
After releasing her biggest ever song Ava went right to her everyday job which she revealed in a TikTok post, she penned: "Released the biggest song of my career and went right back to my 9-5 check.".
Ava Maybee Cardoso-Smith, 23, has followed in the musical footsteps of her Red Hot Chilli Peppers dad Chad Smith.
In one post Ava sits backstage at a concert with her dad as the pair rock out together, she captioned the clip: “I think me and dad are excited for my song to come out tonight….”.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers have had numerous hits over their long career, some of their biggest and most popular songs include, Under the Bridge 1991, Californication 1999, Scar Tissue 1999 and Give It Away 1991.
