Paul Scholes names Man Utd star who 'destroyed' him in first training session Paul Scholes has revealed that he was 'destroyed' by Andrei Kanchelskis during one of his first training sessions with Manchester United.
Scholes would eventually become one of England's most decorated players, winning 11 Premier League titles and the Champions League twice.
And the memories of his first sessions with the Red Devils' first-team have been reignited, including an incident that saw Scholes embarrassed by Kanchelskis.
There is a little bit of paint on the walls but the building is exactly the same, the pitches are exactly the same and every time I go there I can just picture us all jogging round," Scholes told The Telegraph.
The flying winger scored 36 goals in more than 150 appearances for United, winning two Premier League titles and the FA Cup.
