ITV has just teased fans with some exclusive, candid snaps from the set of its latest screen offering, Playing Nice. The drama series was shot against the picturesque backdrop of Cornwall's most charming spots, including St Ives, Padstow and Newquay. The photos reveal the ensemble battling the blustery conditions at the coast, with some brave attempts at surfing. One captivating photo features James Norton, cast as Pete in the gripping four-part story, decked out in his character's attire against the elements.

There's also a spirited shot of him side by side with co-star James McArdle, who embodies Miles, both actors clutching surfboards post-sea session. Yet it's a particular ensemble shot that's sent viewers into an online frenzy, all echoing a similar sentiment about two talents in the star-studded line-up.

As James, in character, bends down to address his biological son, fans were quick to praise the young actor playing the role of Theo in the TV show. The wrenching narrative puts under spotlight Theo, shared biologically between Miles and Lucy, but due to a harrowing hospital mishap, ends up being raised by Pete and Maddie (portrayed by Niamh Algar). Meanwhile Miles and Lucy are raising David, Pete and Maddie's son.

Viewers have been vocal in their admiration for the juvenile actors' stirring performances. Social media saw one viewer comment: "The two little boys were fantastic." Another echoed: "Those children, so young and brilliant.". A different fan remarked: "Great kids, and so young! " An additional comment read: "This wee boy was a star.".
