Speaking about the new menu, Dave Hoskins, head of food at Popeyes UK, told Metro: ‘We’re always experimenting with new ways to enjoy our Shatter Crunchin’ fried chicken, so we are delighted to announce the launch of our brand-new Saucin’ range.
He added: ‘Creating new flavour offerings is our speciality which is why we’ve also introduced the Americana-style Garlic Parm sauce for the first time ever – perfect for those looking to add a punch of bold, New Orleans flavour to their Shatter Crunchin’ chicken.’.
While Buffalo wings and BBQ sauce have been sold in the UK before, the Garlic Parmesan is new – but has been available over in the US previously.
Popeyes knows this only too well, which is why it already has a popular array of dips on the UK menu – everything from hot honey to cool ranch – but now the Louisiana chicken chain is going to be offering something a little different – and it’s perfect for those who like their food extra saucy.
Saucin’ Buffalo Wings were previously trialed in the UK in March 2024 as a limited-edition item and are now back permanently, with the iconic dip transformed into a hot, and glossy sauce that ‘packs a punch’.
