Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz suffered a nasty fall at training ahead of his side's clash with Manchester United. In a clip that has been widely shared on social media, Muniz can be seen walking at Fulham's Motspur Park training ground when he slips over while attempting to enter a building. The Brazilian ends up crumpled in a heap on the floor and gingerly walks away after getting back to his feet.
It appears as though Muniz has avoided an injury and the 23-year-old will be hoping to feature when Fulham host United at Craven Cottage on Sunday. Muniz has largely been used as a substitute by Marco Silva this season, with Raul Jimenez his first-choice forward.
However, Silva has insisted Muniz has a big future at the club, having dismissed rumours linking West Ham with a move for him earlier this month. "I don't have doubts about it," Silva told reporters. "He's been here with me for four years. I pushed hard to have him here in that moment and he's going to be for the future. He has much more years here and a bright future in front of him and he has all the conditions to be the number nine for this football club for many years.".
And when asked if there had been any approaches for Muniz, Silva added: "No not at all. We are not open to listen to anything about Rodrigo and it's better if no one contacts us because it will be a quick and easy answer from us. There's no chance at all to even start to talk to clubs.".
