Fourth Wing fans have been left feeling "stressed" after Rebecca Yarros shared a big hint for book four. It came as Onyx Storm finally hit shelves last Tuesday, January 21. The hotly-anticipated third book in The Empyrean series, which also features Fourth Wing and Iron Flame, picks up where book two left off, following Violet Sorrengail, Xaden Riorson and the other cadets at Basgiath War College.
So far, reader reviews for Onyx Storm have been largely positive, with the book receiving an average star rating of 4.5 across over 191,000 reviews on Goodreads at the time of writing. As readers who have completed the book will know, it finishes on a rather large cliffhanger. And while we won't share any spoilers for the ending here, it's safe to say that the fourth book has a lot of questions to answer.
With Onyx Storm releasing this month, author Rebecca Yarros has been giving lots of interviews, sharing insight into her writing process and a little of what to expect from the next book. But one clip from a recent interview has fans feeling rather worried about their favourite characters.
TikTok user @_.honeyv shared a clip of Rebecca speaking on stage at a recent event. In the video, which has been viewed more than 562,000 times, Rebecca says: "Someone you love won't make it in book four," before adding: "You asked," as audience members shouted out.
