Renée Zellweger looked sensational as she stepped out for the UK premiere of Bridget Jones’ highly anticipated next chapter. Her dress matched the pink carpet at the Odeon Luxe in London’s Leicester Square on Wednesday evening as she reunited again with co-star Hugh Grant for the screening of Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.
The pair smiled for the cameras as they reprise their roles in the fourth installment of the series, more than two decades after they starred in the first film. Zellweger wore a form-fitting bright pink bandeau gown with a mini train and black high heels. She was all smiles as she stopped to pose for cameras on the carpet before the premiere.
The January cold and drizzle could not deter the stars from turning out to celebrate the return of everyone’s favourite fictional singleton as they walked the pink carpet on Wednesday evening. Married former Made In Chelsea stars Jamie Laing, 36, and Sophie Habboo, 30, were amongst the first to arrive.
Singers Beverley Knight, 51, and Jessie Ware, 40, were also sure to bag themselves an invite to the hot ticket event. Knight opted to make sure her arms weren’t cold as she faced snappers in a coat with elaborate sleeves, while Ware sported an attention-grabbing ensemble featuring a woman’s naked bottom.
Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy marks the fourth installment of the hit rom-com series based on the books by Helen Fielding. It has been almost nine years since the last film, Bridget Jones’ Baby, was released and a lot has happened to the titular character in that time.
