Rob Brydon left fans in awe on Monday night as he brought out a Gavin and Stacey star for an on-stage duet during his Christmas stage show. The actor, 59, who plays Uncle Bryn in the hit comedy series, had been entertaining fans with his show Rob Brydon & His Fabulous Band: A Festive Night Of Songs & Laughter at London's Lyceum Theatre.
But the star stepped it up a gear when he later introduced Ruth Jones, 58, who came out in character as the hilarious Nessa Jenkins - much to the delight of the surprised audience. Nessa, dressed in her trademark black leather waistcoat, proceeded to utter her famous catchphrase 'what's occurring' as she sauntered over to her co-star.
The pair then burst into a rendition of Baby, It's Cold Outside with both staying in character throughout. The humorous song saw the duo sing adapted lyrics making reference to the popular show, with Nessa piping up with comments such as 'Tidy' and Don't Mess With Me'.
