Roy Keane savaged Manchester United and accused them of lacking 'bravery' and 'courage' after a dismal first half against Manchester City. Ruben Amorim's team went in at the break behind after Josko Gvardiol's header and in return United failed to muster a single shot on target.

For former United captain Keane he was irked at United conceding from another set piece, with Gvardiol's header making it eight goals conceded from a corner this season. Only Wolves, who today sacked manager Gary O'Neil, have a worse record. 'I look at [Rasmus] Hojlund and [Diogo] Dalot and when you are defending set pieces you have to do more than one job,' Keane told Sky Sports.
'Some players are just focusing on the player. You've got to multi-task! That's just far too easy. 'The United players far too many times this season haven't been brave enough or had the courage to go and attack the ball. Waving their arms up, it's no good!'.

'United have had problems all season,' he added. '[Look] at the stats here. They got bodies in there and it takes a slight deflection and Amad has probably got to do better.
