Marcus Rashford has admitted the time might be right to leave Manchester United - just days after Roy Keane came to the same conclusion. The Red Devils academy graduate has endured an explosive few days at Old Trafford. It was previously claimed that United were open to selling him as early as January.

He was then dropped from the squad for the weekend’s Manchester derby win against Manchester City. And now Rashford has confirmed that he would be open to leaving his boyhood club. Speaking in an interview with journalist Henry Winter, the United forward said: "For me, personally, I think I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps. When I leave it's going to be 'no hard feelings'. You're not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That's me as a person.

"If I know that a situation is already bad I'm not going to make it worse. I've seen how other players have left in the past and I don't want to be that person. When I leave I'll make a statement and it will be from me.". And while Rashford has suggested that he could leave United, that was a situation that has already been hinted at by Roy Keane. Speaking before the clash with Man City, the former Red Devils captain said: “It doesn’t look good for him. A move for Marcus would suit the player – a new challenge for him.
