Ruben Amorim shows true colours with reaction to Man Utd fans after Brighton loss

It was another tough day at the office for Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim, but the Portuguese didn't hide from the supporters after Sunday's defeat by Brighton. A 3-1 win for Brighton helped wrap up a league double for Fabian Hurzeler against the Red Devils. Yankuba Minteh and Kaoru Mitoma contributed a goal and an assist apiece, with Georginio Rutter rounding off the scoring after an error from United keeper Andre Onana.
It might have been tempting for Amorim to hide away after the reverse. Instead, though, he posed with waiting fans for a number of photos outside Old Trafford, and signed autographs for those who asked. United have now picked up just four points from their last six league games, remaining in the bottom half of the table. There have been bright sparks under Amorim, not least the derby win against Manchester City, but the former Sporting CP boss is learning the size of the task ahead of him.
United sat 14th in the table when Amorim's predecessor Erik ten Hag was sacked in October, and are currently just one place higher. They have picked up 11 points from as many matches under the 39-year-old, though a pair of Europa League wins under Amorim have boosted their chances of progress in that particular competition.
Back in August, a last-gasp Joao Pedro goal gave Brighton all three points against United. The Brazilian thought he'd fired the Seagulls to victory again on Sunday, only for his goal - scored early in the second half - to be disallowed for a foul in the build-up.
