Severe rush hour delays hit London Underground and Elizabeth Line

Passengers on the Tube face longer journeys than usual after severe delays across the network. If you’re travelling on the Elizabeth line this morning, prepare for major delays on the entire line. Commuters were warned of severe delays between Abbey Wood, Heathrow Airport and Reading.
This is because of a track fault on the Acton Main Line which Network Rail engineers are fixing. The Victoria line has not been spared of delays either. There is no service between Victoria station and Brixton due to a signal failure at Stockwell, while the rest of the line has severe delays, the latest TfL travel status update shows.
The Metropolitan line has also been hit by disruption caused by another track fault at Wembley Park. It means the stretch of railway between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Aldgate has severe delays. The Circle line is seeing minor delays after train cancellations.
