WITH sales in full swing, shoppers are on the hunt for the best deals. But fashion fans are buzzing about a clever H&M hack that could save you even more - and it’s super easy to do. TikTok user Becky, known as @beckylloyd100, recently shared a little-known tip that can score you an extra 20% off at H&M.
As a self-proclaimed bargain lover and H&M enthusiast, Becky swears by this hack whenever she can. Here’s how it works: whenever you’re clearing out your wardrobe, pack your unwanted clothes into a bag and take it to an H&M store. For each bag of clothes, they’ll give you a £5 voucher to use when you spend £25 or more.
Becky explained: “I just had a huge clear-out and took three bags to the store yesterday. “I got three £5 vouchers - so of course, I had to spend one.”. According to H&M’s website, their Garment Collecting programme has been running since 2013. It accepts unwanted clothes or textiles from any brand and in any condition.
Just hand over your bag at the checkout, and you’ll get a thank-you voucher for your next purchase. Once collected, the items are sorted. Clothes that can be re-worn are sold as second-hand clothing. Items that aren’t re-wearable are either turned into new products, like remake collections or cleaning cloths, or shredded into textile fibres for uses such as insulation materials.
