Simon Cowell gave a cheerful thumbs up on Tuesday as he stepped out in Blackpool for the latest round of Britain's Got Talent auditions. Auditions for the ITV talent show were cancelled back in October in the wake of the shock death of Liam Payne earlier that month aged 31, after he fell from a third-floor hotel balcony in Argentina.
And now almost three months after the postponement, work on the show is back underway with Simon - who famously formed Liam's band One Direction - seen looking in a good mood in the seaside town. Dressed in his signature grey T-shirt and dark shades, the music mogul, 65, had seemingly put the difficult past few months to the back of his mind as he ploughed on with work.
Flashing a peace sign and a warm smile, the TV judge looked raring to go following a halt in the proceedings. Simon teamed his T-shirt and shades with black trousers, shoes and a thin brown scarf, while carrying a padded jacket in his arms.
