Shilo Read was tired of using dating apps to meet eligible bachelors, deciding instead to put herself out there while attending a rugby match. Constructing a simple yet effective sign advertising her relationship status, Shilo took it to the game and was soon inundated with date requests.
The direct sign just read 'single' in big, bold letters with an arrow that pointed down at her when she held it above her head, along with her Instagram handle. Shilo posted the masterful move to TikTok showing a picture of her sign as she held it aloft in the stands before a screen recording showed her scrolling through the overwhelming amount of follow requests and direct messages asking her out.
'This is your sign to bring a single sign to sporting events,' she joked. Hilariously, Shilo said her mom was the mastermind behind the idea. 'She made the suggestion and I thought it would be funny!' the West Australian based creator told the DailyMail.com.
