The Putnam Valley, New York-born actor's blood alcohol level was measured at or above 0.08 percent, the outlet reported, citing legal records. Welling has since been released from custody after he was cited for the violation, the New York Post reported Tuesday.

Welling was taken into custody in the parking lot of an Arby's restaurant in Yreka, California shortly after midnight, authorities said. Welling has not yet publicly commented on his arrest in the small Northern California town, which is about 16 miles south of the Oregon border.
Welling and his wife Jessica Rose Lee, who is an equestrian, are parents to two sons: Thomson Wylde, six, and Rocklin Von, three.
