Soap star Francisco San Martin found dead at home aged 39

Soap star Francisco San Martin has been found dead at his LA home at the age of 39. The actor was best known for his role as Dario Hernandez in TV show Days Of Our Lives and tributes from co-stars have begun pouring in. Camila Banus, who played Dario’s sister Gabi, Shared her words of sadness.

She posted online: ‘Pepe, what can I say but I love you and rest in peace, my friend. ‘Love you mucho mucho mucho. I wish I had told you more.’. LA TV journalist Michael Fairman said: ‘Very, very sad. I am a bit in shock, as I saw Francisco at my gym most every day.’.
According to US outlets including Deadline, Francisco’s body was found by policeon Thursday, January 16, with Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office saying the actor took his own life. The star spent six month in Days Of Our Lives in 2011, with his alter-ego sent to investigate a cold case.
He eventually moved away after a job promotion, spelling an end to the character. Francisco then went on to have a short stint in fellow soap The Bold and the Beautiful in 2017. Francisco was born in Mallorca but moved to Montana as child. He worked as a model and, after training at acting school, landed theatre roles before landing his TV break.
