Strictly star 'found it difficult' as he makes Chris McCausland admission Strictly Come Dancing star Tommy Blaize has opened up about a moment he found "difficult" during the 2024 final of the BBC show, which saw Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell take home the Glitterball trophy.
Host Lorraine Kelly quizzed him about the final, most notably Dianne and Chris' waltz to You'll Never Walk Alone by Gerry and the Pacemakers, which proved to be a hugely emotional moment for everyone involved, including viewers at home.
Tommy agreed with Lorraine and revealed how Chris and Dianne's song choice made the moment so special.
Chris, who was Strictly's first blind contestant, and Dianne lifted the Glitterball trophy after numerous impressive performances throughout the course of series, with the duo frequently improving and being voted through to the next week by the public.
"Tommy that was a gorgeous moment," Lorraine said, with Tommy agreeing: "It really was, it was quite special.".
