Some fans are eager for Taylor Swift and her partner Travis Kelce to get engaged amid rumours over the prospect. Taylor, 35, and Travis, also 35, have attracted much attention over their relationship since going public in 2023. It's included them facing rumours of a potential proposal, with there now ongoing speculation over the prospect.
It was suggested last month, for example, that Taylor sporting what was described as a "blurred" ring finger in photos from a party was possible evidence of an engagement. There's no evidence that Taylor has got engaged, but the speculation has been fuelled this month by her wearing a particular fashion accessory at two recent sports events.
Travis' team, the Kansas City Chiefs, have competed in two NFL games at their home Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, lately. Taylor has been in attendance for them and was seen wearing gloves on both occasions. She wore a pair of black gloves to the team's divisional playoff against the Houston Texans on January 18. More recently, over the weekend, she wore Louis Vuitton gloves to the Chiefs' conference championship game against the Buffalo Bills on January 26.
Taylor arrived without gloves on to the game on Sunday though and although her left hand wasn't particularly visible in photos of her arrival, there was no obvious engagement ring. Additionally, she wasn't sporting an engagement ring in photos from her suite that were shared by pal Ashley Avignone.
Some fans have however suggested that the gloves could be an attempt to hide an engagement ring. One fan wrote on X following Travis' first game: "Not a lot of people in that suite wearing gloves. Could Taylor be hiding the ring?!" Another said at the time: "Swifties want to know are the gloves hiding a ring.".
