Tennis ace Katie Boulter announces engagement to 'honorary Brit' Wimbledon star British tennis star Katie Boulter has announced her engagement to fellow professional Alex de Minaur.
Boulter and De Minaur have been together for around five years and have played mixed doubles together.
Boulter had already teased the news last week with another Instagram post of them sitting in front of the sea in Alicante, Spain, as the sun set with the caption: "Today was a good day".
De Minaur has described himself as 'an honorary Brit' having been supported vociferously during his run to the quarter-final at Wimbledon in July.
I can be the honorary Brit here at Wimbledon,” De Minaur said in the summer.
