As the seasons change and new fashion trends emerge, refreshing your wardrobe can often feel like a frustrating task. It’s tempting to follow the latest trends, but this can sometimes come with a hefty price tag. However, there’s always an alternative solution for those who want to stay stylish without breaking the bank. On a recent grocery run, TikToker @thesassy_scientist was surprised when she discovered a hidden gem in her local Tesco. After browsing the F&F clothing section, she was impressed by the stylish range of pieces on offer. Many of the items she spotted looked similar to those from the popular brand Zara, a high-street favourite known for its chic, on-trend styles.
She couldn’t wait to share her find with her followers and posted a short nine-second TikTok video showcasing some of her favourite pieces from the new collection. The video, captioned "Tesco new in clothing," highlighted a variety of items such as trench coats, tweed jackets, and co-ord sets - styles that were “giving boujee” and undeniably similar to Zara's trendy style.
What’s even more surprising is that these items are significantly more affordable. For example, F&F's cream trench coat is priced at £45, while a similar one at Zara retails for £89.99. Likewise, F&F's striped knit cardigan costs £22.50, compared to £35.99 for an almost identical one at Zara. It’s clear that Tesco’s F&F range is not only offering stylish options but is also doing so at a fraction of the price of high-street rivals.
