Three major banks to close 102 branches next year in HUGE blow to high street – check full list of locations

A STAGGERING 102 bank sites are set to close in the new year, figures reveal. Dozens of branches are expected to shut in 2025, across multiple locations. These include big-name lenders which are staples on the UK high street. Lloyds Banking Group which is made up of Lloyds Bank, Halifax and Bank of Scotland, is set to close 102 sites.

This comes as more than 6,000 high street banks and building society branches have closed in just over a decade. Customers are increasingly turning to online banking to manage their finances while banks and building societies look for ways to cut costs.
