Tom Kerridge has unveiled a new 'Beast Club' meat board at his Chelsea and Marlow restaurants, but it'll set you back £59. The celebrity chef, 51, from Salisbury, has revealed that The Butcher's Tap and Grill is launching a 'delicious board of beef focused dishes' from February.
While the new offering, which includes a rump steak, oxtail chili, onglet skewers, and a slow-cooked bone marrow, has impressed fans, some are disappointed at the price. Kerridge claimed that the dish would 'definitely serve two' though, which would put the dish £29.50 per person.
Regardless, viewers took to the comment section to express their upset at the price, with one writing: 'Rip off Britain'. Talking in the Instagram video, Tom said: 'Big news. Butcher's Tap and Grill Chelsea and Marlow have now started something called Beast Club.
'It's all about the beast, and it's all about the one particular animal, and starting on February the first, the first month, is beef. 'Here you get, roasted bone marrow, oxtail with some Welsh rarebit topping, absolutely delicious, braised shin beef stuffed into an onion, rump roasted on the grill, cooked as you want it, onglet, and then a kebab with a bit of Korean style spice over the top.
