Since its launch in 2008 by two Lithuanians, the platform has grown massively - in the UK alone, it has attracted 16 million users – nearly one-quarter of the population, as reported by The Guardian. But with so many sellers flogging their pre-loved gear, how to make sure that it's your profile that potential buyers go to?.

Well now one woman, Chloe Chandler, has taken to TikTok to list five tricks that allegedly helped her make a fortune of more than an astronomical £4,000. This may sound obvious but one of the key things that matter is the quality of your photos, Chloe said in the video.

According to the savvy fashionista, whose profile has been rated with the maximum of five stars by happy customers, you should ensure there are ''enough photos and photos are nice'', with ''an aesthetically pleasing background''. ''This can be ''on the back of a door'' or a simple yet effective white background - and you should best avoid placing your items on the floor.

''Just consistency with all of your photos, so they all look the same. ''I just out all my items on a hanger if it's clothing and hook it at the back of the door.''. Before making a listing online, Chloe advised fellow Vinted fans to do their research properly and ''double-check the price that it is selling for''.
