It's common knowledge that once you're past security at an airport, you cannot get out - and so when it comes to things you need to buy, you'll have to succumb to some price hikes. If you need to eat, you'll have to accept that it's going to be a little more expensive than usual and not let it dampen the holiday spirit early on.

But one woman says it doesn't have to be that way when it comes to certain things, as she shared a way to avoid something that's always "overpriced" when you're sitting, excitedly waiting for your flight to paradise. TikToker @hangrybynature shared "three life-changing tips for flying," and one of them is something that many people won't have even considered as an option.

She recommended that you take a reusable water bottle with you through security "because once you pass security checks, you'll find water fountains everywhere to fill your bottle.". She explained that this would "save you from buying overpriced airport water," where prices can be a lot steeper to stay hydrated. And, of course, everyone knows that buying water on the actual plane will set you back a pretty penny.

Other hacks that she shared were "finding the latch" so you can "slide in and out" of your plane seat "with ease," rather than struggling to get in and out - especially if you're in the aisle seat. She said the latch was "beneath the aisle seat handlebar," and if you lift the armrest, it means you won't accidentally bang and bruise yourself when you're getting in and out of the seat in a hurry - as we all know, too well, what it's like when you've got someone behind you, the trolley is making its way down, and you have to be speedy.
