Trolls say mum’s ‘taken the fun out of Christmas’ with her giant gift haul as others dub it ‘depressing’

A FAMILY have been accused of "taking the fun out of Christmas" after sharing a video of their enormous Christmas present haul. The clip, which was shared on social media, showcased a Christmas tree completely surrounded by a ginormous mountain of presents.

And not only were there a lot of gifts, but they were all meticulously organised, in rows and groups - presumably depending on who they were for. There was no floor in sight, as so many gorgeous gifts covered the space. A variety of different wrapping papers were used, filling the room with colour and festive spirit.

Alongside the clip, the mother asked: "What is the most popular gift to give on Christmas?". But unfortunately, the question didn't get many responses. Instead, many were left fuming by the vast amount of presents in the intentionally innocent clip. The video's comment section was flooded with remarks from angry social media users, insisting that such gauche displays of wealth "take the fun out of Christmas".
Not only this, but people were stunned at how the family could afford so many gifts. One person wrote: "I’m sorry but getting that much stuff would actually takes the fun out of Christmas.". Another mum commented: "When you can only afford to give your 3 kids 3 gifts each this year - this hurts.".
