Many of us will be looking to make life changes going into the new year. While some are focussed on climbing the career ladder or finding love, others have vowed to be more mindful of their health in 2025. And if you are looking to improve your fitness, you may want to try the Daily 50 challenge that doesn't actually require you to step foot in the gym.
Apparently, putting yourself through the physical test could seriously improve your strength. But to see the best results, you must be consistent with the exercises. Fitness influencer @fitfittie shared what he does to keep in great shape, which includes doing 50 reps of certain movements every day. You can do these outside or from the comfort of your own living room while watching the telly.
First, there are 50 push-ups, followed by 50 body squats, then 50 lunges, a 50-second wall-sit, and finally, a 50-second plank. He shared that you "can take a break in between," and they don't have to be done consecutively. If you find the challenge difficult, you can start by doing less reps initially. As you build strength, you should be able to get yourself up to the goal of 50.
In the comments section, people seemed to be willing to give the fitness plan a go. One said: "This is what I am looking at doing while I work." So will you be joining them? Let us know in the comments section below. The NHS website states: "Adults should do some type of physical activity every day. Exercising just once or twice a week can reduce the risk of heart disease or stroke.".
