Beth Cordingly won the Best Soap Newcomer award for her role as Ruby Fox-Miligan, while the show was named Best Soap again, following on from last year’s victory.
In the drama categories, Mr Bates vs The Post Office's success continued, as the series was named Best New Drama.
When it came to the gongs, Si King took home the Best Food Show prize for The Hairy Bikers Go West, the final series he made with his much-missed screen partner Dave Myers.
