Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk prize money and purse: How much will fighters earn?

Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are set to split £150million tonight when they meet for a second time in seven months. Their pair will reignite their rivalry in what will serve as an early Christmas present for the boxing purists. Usyk will be looking to go 2-0 up in the series after becoming the first man to defeat the 'Gypsy King' in a professional setting back in May - scoring a split decision victory in Riyadh.
This time around, though, Fury is out for revenge as he looks to avoid suffering back-to-back defeats for the first time in his professional career. The pair are arguably two of the biggest names in the sport, so it comes as no surprise that they're set to pocket millions.
Reports suggested that the overall purse for the first showdown back in May was around £116m - with Fury roughly taking 70 per cent of that. Ahead of the blockbuster sequel, both men are once again set to be rewarded handsomely for their efforts inside the squared-circle.
While Fury received a larger sum a couple of months ago, it's believed that the pair are going to split the total fight purse 50/50 this time around - with both men set to take home £75m. This may come as a surprise to many boxing fans considering the 'Gypsy King' is the challenger on Saturday night.
The two heavyweight stars have been fairly respectful all week, with the 'Gypsy King' cutting a focused figure. That changed last night, however. Fury launched a foul-mouthed rant at Usyk after an intense 11-minute staredown. Both men had to be separated after they locked eyes for an age before the Brit exploded into a tirade of abuse at the Ukrainian.
