UFC legend reveals how Conor McGregor could 'destroy his brand' in Logan Paul boxing fight

Former UFC heavyweight contender Brendan Schaub believes a defeat against Logan Paul will 'destroy' Conor McGregor's brand. McGregor - a two-division champion in the UFC - has not fought since breaking his leg in the trilogy showdown with long-time rival Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 back in 2021. The Irishman was scheduled to make his UFC comeback last year against Michael Chandler, but was forced to pull out of the clash after picking up an injury in training.
Despite remaining confident that he'll return to the cage this year, 'The Notorious' sensationally revealed last month that he's in talks to take on Paul in a boxing bout. In a post uploaded to X - formerly known as Twitter - McGregor denied reports of a showdown with UFC featherweight champion Ilia Topuria and announced his desire to take on Paul, posting: "The rumours of a bout with Topuria are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon.".
The potential clash would net both men a huge $250million and would likely take place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, best known as a cricket venue. McGregor recently issued a stern warning to the 29-year-old, but Schaub believes defeat against the WWE superstar could affect 'The Notorious' in a big way.
In a video uploaded to his official YouTube channel, Schaub said: “If he [McGregor] gets starched [by Logan Paul], it’s gonna destroy his brand. After all these allegations, he hasn’t fought in forever, hasn’t won in a hot f****** second, and finally comes back — and let’s say he looks bad!.
