Former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor has issued a stern warning to Logan Paul amid talks of a boxing fight - which would net both men a huge $250million. In December, reports suggested that the Irishman in talks to fight Jake Paul's older brother. In a post uploaded to X - formerly known as Twitter - McGregor wrote: "The rumours of a bout with Topuria are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon.".

India's Ambani family are reportedly working on a return for McGregor against one of the Paul brothers. The proposed bout would take place at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, best known as a cricket venue. McGregor has not fought since 2021 when he suffered a first round defeat to long-time rival Dustin Poirier.

He was scheduled to take on Michael Chandler last year, however, a broken toe forced him to pull out of the bout. While the Irishman is still eager to settle the score with the former Bellator lightweight champion, it seems as if he's now solely focused on the bout with Paul inside the squared-circle.

On Saturday night, McGregor took to X - formerly known as Twitter - and issued a strong message to Paul. He posted a photo of the WWE star during a wrestling appearance, captioning it: $250,000,000. #ImComing,” along with an emoji of the Indian flag.

The potential showdown has seemingly got the world talking at the minute. In a recent post uploaded to Instagram, Paul was left with egg on his face after the American's poll regarding a fight with the Irish MMA star backfired. Asking his fans how a fight with McGregor would play, 'The Maverick' uploaded a poll along with an edit of him and McGregor throwing a punch towards each other.
