A DISTRESSED mum has been slated online for showing the state her council house was in when she first got the keys. The housing accommodation was in need of some serious TLC, but viewers said she was "lucky" and told her to "be grateful.". In the video she takes the viewer on a walk-through tour of the house, heading up a set of exposed stairs that had litter strewn across them.
The upper floor of the house had two spacious bedrooms which, although dated, had plenty of room for storage. There was also a large airing cupboard in between the rooms, with more than enough space for bedsheets and towels. Moving back to the ground floor, it became clear that the house was in need of a new carpet all over - as wooden floorboards lay bare.
There was a large downstairs shower room and several cupboards and cloakrooms off the main entrance hall.
